No that's Stavelot 2. It's named after Paul Frere now.

I'm sure Turn 9 at Spa is called Liege...

+Also, Rubens celebrated his 300th race at Spa in 2010, now the only other driver to hit 300 does it at Spa.

Judging how the season has progressed, I'm not expecting good results from Schumi this time either.

He will either score good points or retire. There is nothing really inbetween this year.

I'll go with retiring for an utterly stupid reason.

I keep telling everybody that if the Lotus works like in Budapest or Hockenheim Kimi will win. At least I hope so :)

Lotus will try their new Double DRS here as well. If they can't win with Kimi at Spa, I struggle to see where else they'll win.

I was at Spa last year. :)
But this year I'll see it on television.

Flat out through the smoke screen and hanging it at Pouhon. Legendary. I wish I was going!

jesus, how he holds onto it at Pouhon is amazing. I believe he even had a more dramatic sideways moment later on.

Gravel traps outside almost every corner. Those were the days.

And I can only think of Zonta in 1999 of an actual flip caused by the gravel traps so what a terrible, dangerous think they were... :p

When did we last have a proper Eau Rouge shunt in F1? I can recall Sutil having a little crash there in 2010 or 11, but that was at Raidillon. Surely the last big one was Fisi in 05?

Yeah, and that wasn't that big, comparatively

Depends if you count the start fracas in '04 but that started at Eau Rouge and finished halfway down the straight so it was just a bit-part corner in that accident, really...

That was more down to Takuma being Takuma rather than Eau Rouge.

I still love Spa, but it's a shame it isn't quite the same. The changes to La Source have made that corner worse, it isn't quite as cool and I find the new Bus Stop really awkward. Everything after Blanchimont is a little bit meh.

As a fan it's still a fantastic track to visit. When I think about tracks like the Nürburgring GP Circuit and how far you're sitting away from the action just to watch the cars race through a boring mickey mouse section, Spa wins - hands down. Although I wish they would open up some areas for fans again, especially around the back of the track like that hill at the corner with no name.
