I can't imagine that the team wouldn't have picked any problem up when they checked it over.

If they didn't, it's a shoddy job from them.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Steering failure at Monaco = brown undies.

Yes! a second earlier and the impact would have been much much harder.

You could see the wheel "wobbling" on the hub as the weight shifted to the left side of the car as he bounced off the right side curb.

Oh, wow, that wheel was pointing in completely the wrong direction.

Sorry, Sergio.

Slow-mo showed the wheel wobbling around/not steering very clearly ... seemed to fail mid-corner and then just understeer into the barrier. Monaco qualifying not good for Checo ...

I think the camera man may need to radio for new undies too ...

There's no way the mechanics haven't checked it more than once.

They probably check everything anyway in Monaco given the small hits we don't even see.

And with some pretty violent bumps, the suspension takes a pounding anyway, so it's almost certainly checked and double checked anyway ...
