Those are the planned and announced demonstrations. Now consider how many unannounced ones there may be.

The Wednesday one is supposedly specifically against the F1 teams arriving I read on twitter or autosport forums (not sure which) and it'll be blocking one of the main highways.
Quote:
On Wednesday 18 April at 16:00, a vehicular demonstration is planned along King Faisal Hwy, the Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Expressway, and Airport Ave between the Farooq Junction and Bahrain International Airport.

It's going to be interesting as to how this plays out as if the teams/journalists do get caught up in this it will not look good on the decision to race. (more so than already)

Well they say that drivers these days are the "Playstation Generation", so in preparation for this weekend they've all been playing Call of Duty.

What would be really funny would be a sandstorm resulting in the race's cancellation...

Now the bahraini king has complained about a brazilian cartoonist who's making lots of charges/cartoons asking people to boycott the GP, his cartoons are amazing. People in Bahrain are using his cartoons to protest in the streets, that's really cool. Carlos Latuff is his name.

More interested in everything that happens around the race this weekend than the race itself.
