But I can't believe that would happen now, because in my humble opinion common sense is playing a role in here. Everyone knows that Alonso is not easy to overtake, it would also mean Perez would need to go away from the dry line and put his slicks on a damp part of the track in an attempt to overtake. And why risk an unexpected brilliant result, and the fact that Ferrari would be not at all happy if something would have gone wrong.

I don't believe in conspiracy here, only common sense! If you see Peter Sauber's emotional reaction, I think it's pretty clear.

The thing with Perez is just the same basic physiological principle as kids, if you see your kid walking along a tall wall perfectly fine, as a parent you naturally have the urge to tell them to be careful and not fall, to which a few seconds later they likely will fall off the wall, not because they've suddenly forgotten how to keep their balance, but because mummy or daddy have just planted the physiological seed of "falling" into the kids subconscious, so then all they're thinking about it not falling rather than concentrating on keeping their balance.

Perez did the same thing, they reminded him 2nd was good enough, so he then get's distracted from being focused on driving and falls off the road.

Can someone please explain what happened with Vettel in the last lap? I only saw and heard his team saying "stop", then "don't stop", and finaly "stop NOW".

That's correct. But you need to reasonably justify the retirement. Which avoids any repeat of Honda in Australia 2005, retiring the car to get fresh engines for Malaysia, only for both cars to go bang before lap 5.
