Listening to the radio stream seems like there's been a big crash in whatever race is on now, they're running around shouting code 1 code 1 and one driver is still trapped in his car....doesn't sound good

I was checking the supports schedule, doesn't seem to be any racing at the moment...V8SC Race 1 is in 1h45m.

Could be a practise session?

Just gave him a call, and he was like errrr, no nothing has happened at all.

Maybe it was just an emergency drill.

Might be, I'm not completely sure as to what I'm listening to but so far I've heard reports of someone being hit by machinery and a "driver slumped over the wheel of his car..."

Which, now I think about it, could easily apply to someone asleep in the car park, but they certainly treated it as a serious incident.

Still, liking the behind the scenes news gathering we've got going on, kudos for that lol

haha, last year i gave him my go-pro and he mounted it on the dash of the rescue vehicle as he chased the cars around for the first couple corners. It's amazing to see how quickly the V8's etc pull away from the emergency vehicles when you're inside the emergency vehicle
