Here we are again! The 'ultimate' F1 prediction game! There are a few rule changes, see further.

The winner will be awarded with the 'F1 prediction King' award!

KNOWLEDGE ROUND

1. Predict the top 8 of the world championship final standings.
If you predict a driver to be in the top 8, you get 5 points, if you manage to predict the driver on the correct spot, you get 5 additional points (10 points in total)

For example
The championship ends like this:
1. Massa
2. Schumacher
3. Hamilton
4. Vettel
5. Webber

7. Alonso
8. Heidfeld

You predicted the following top 8
1. Button 0 pts
2. Alonso 5 pts
3. Schumacher 5 pts

earning a total of 40 points of a possible maximum of 80 points.

2. Predict the number of victories
Same rule as number 1. If you have predicted one or more wins for a driver, and he actually does, you get 5 points, if he manages to win the correct number of victories, you will get 5 additional bonus points! Make sure to have a total of 20 . RULE CHANGE: to avoid people pick wins for all drivers to get at least all the 5 points, we have slightly changed the rule. If you pick a win for a certain driver, but he does not manage to do so, you will get -5!

Alonso – 5
Massa – 5

And this is the outcome
Vettel – 5 (10 points)
Webber – 4 (5 points)
Alonso – 11 (5 points)

Same as n° 2

4. Top 5 final standings constructors championship
Predict the top 5 in the constructor's championship, rules are the same as the first question. However, the reward when you predict the correct spot will be bigger: 20 points!

5. Number of fastest laps
Same as N° 2

6. Top 8 first Grand Prix
To get things started, predict the top 8 of the first grand prix. Same rule as the first question.

7. Top 8 last Grand Prix
To keep this contest interesting and undecisive until the very last Grand Prix, state the top 8 of the last race.

BONUS POINTS ROUND
I concider this round to be a 'lucky' round, as luck is needed to get these points. When you got one of the following questions correct, you will earn 15 points per right answer.

8. When will we know the world champion?
At which Grand Prix will the new world champion be crowned? Choose to answer the venue (i.e. Sao Paulo) or state ‘last race’, one but last race, 2nd last race etc.

9. Number of safety cars situations in Singapore
Starting under de SC will be concidered as '1'.

10. Sacked drivers
How many drivers that took part in the first race, will NOT take part in the last race? For example if we start the season with 24 drivers, and for some reason Alonso is injured and replaced by Montoya, the HRT team no longer takes part in the end and Hamilton has been replaced for whatever reason by Villeneuve, the correct answer would be 4!

MEGA BONUS ROUND
for the following two questions, there should only be one member that will get these mega bonus points. The one that is closest to the answer, will have 30 points! So even if you got it totally wrong in the first 7 questions, you still have a chance to get a higher ranking if you got these correct... if there are two correct answers, for example if there are two that got the number of points correct for question 14, both will earn the 30 points!

Some general rules:

1/ you must enter your picks before the first practice session

2/ make sure to get a total of 20 for the following questions: 2, 3 and 5. Otherwise that pick will not count.

3/ when a driver gets replaced, these points will NOT be allocated to the driver that got replaced. For example, if Schumacher is replaced by Montoya, and Juan-Pablo wins a race, that win will NOT be allocated to Schumacher...

4/ in the case of a tie, the number of questions that you got more correct than the other one will count!
