and then people ask why I dislike Alonso's personality.

would be quite ironic for a Torro Rosso to cost Red Bull the title (unless I understand the situation wrong)

So, I'm hacking to work at 530 this morning, fast lane of the M25. A big pair of white xenons slowly pulls up behind me and I pull over to let them past. Brand new Infiniti Sebastien Vettel edition on german plates, with a very fresh faced 25 year old triple world champion behind the wheel, in his Red Bull Racing beanie hat. Mind Blown.

And you gave yourself to overtake so easily? Blue flags in your head 8O :(

I wanted Alonso to win - underdog, drove a great season, illogical desire to see Vettel not win too much despite finding him quite likeable - but he didn't on Sunday and I'd rather it stayed like that ... he and Ferrari aren't doing themselves any favours and where they would have been respected for winning on the track, would not be for winning in court. Glad to see the legality of the move, which we've essentially known for days now, being upheld, along with the result ... a courtroom champion would not be the way to end a fantastic season like we've had. Here's to another, and another worthy champion - as Vettel is.

I read one about Kovalainen this morning ... (I say read, I mean glanced at the headline, therefore making 'saw' a more appropriate verb choice. I'm now marking my own writing.)

Yeah, that's quite funny indeed about what Bernie says and the 'road safe' campaign from Total. Grosjean probably misunderstood Bernie, because he's acting more on track like: "Drink before you drive". Somekind of misunderstanding there from Grosjeans point of view :P

On a different note, Kamui has set up a website where his fans can donate to help keep him in F1.

Japan only, unfortunately, although if it does go international my bank account will be pretty much emptied.

So far, it has raised over £600,000 after being online for just over a week.

Makes the companies who refuse to back him look rather offbeat.

http://globotv.globo.com/sportv/redacao ... 1/2265311/

According to this brazilian sports channel, these are the bank info of Kamui

Quote:
Bank name: Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation
Agency: Amagasaki Ramo
Address: Meses Win Dream
Bank deposit: savings account
Account number: 5176050

Can anyone confirm?

The account number only (5176050), other info on japanese : http://kamui-support.com/
I also wanted to send Kamui some money, but I'm not sure that the bank account details are suitable for international transactions.

If Kamui manages to get enough funds for a ride in 2013, he should reward fans some way....maybe giving tickets for free or something, I don't know. But that's epic!

This would be my most favorite lineup of anything in racing forever. My two favorite drivers in the same team with my favorite marque.(Might be fudging this part a bit, but suck it)
