Is it me, or are there multiple references to ''since we started coverage in 2009?''

With respect to Buemi and PdR, it has to be Button doesn't it? Kept strong pace and minimized mistakes under changing and tricky conditions.

Yeah.

Vettel happy with 2nd, but says there was a chance to win and they didn't use it. Says the team could have been a bit smarter and says he ran wide twice.

And mentioning the channel a lot. "You heard it here first, on the BBC."

Brundle and Jake have made numerous stealthy references to the deal too.

Hmm... "I don't know what happened but I got a penalty for something, which is to be expected, I guess, sometimes."

OK

So now the title is over, can we have another 8 amazing races please? This feels reminiscent of 2009, only with awesome races.

I don't think the title is over yet, although Vettel did a very good job today. Or you have to say: Hamilton spoiled a big chance today. But Spa and Monza are probably McLaren-races where Red Bull will have a very difficult race in Monza. Let's see what the situation is before we left Europe.

Has to be Button, he almost makes it look accidental but there's something about these kind of conditions he excels in.

Agreed.
Jenson perfectly drove today, never been too much excited and making mistakes.
Triumph of intelligence against stupidity.

Hamilton made a great 1st-half race, but fucked it after the spin.

Buemi and Di Resta's drives were awesome too.

Too bad MSC retired without showing something.

Lewis/Mark/Alonso need to take over 10 points per race out of Vettel's lead. Not going to happen as the only part of the RBR prone to failing is the KERS.

It need a Vettel DNF or two, even though I don't expect the Red Bull to be in contention for a win till Singapore. Vettel can play percentages like Alonso did in 2005, and Jenson did [inbetween some bouts of lacklustre driving] in 2009.

Buemi. Great run from the back of the grid to 8th.

Buemi was amazing. Kept it on the island when a lot of the people ahead didn't, and got some points to hassle Williams with.

STR are actually 18 points in front of Williams and only 4 off Force India. Williams have just been shocking this year.

An 8, but I was thinking about giving it a 7.
Why?? Well the racing is exceptional this year, no doubt about it. But I'm missing a bit more action in case of crashes or drama. It's not that I'm it watching F1 just because I want to see accidents. But years ago with conditions like this today in Hungary it was sure that some of the smaller teams could gain some points because there were more collisions, failures and so on. Today we only had 4 retirements. Actually that is nothing for a race like that.
The racing is good but also remarkably clean. We only had two races that saw a Safety Car. That is a an amazingly low amount.
The entertainment value this year is high but I would like to have a little bit more drama.
