It doesn't matter what line the car in front takes, you can't just drive into the side of them and hope they jump out the way. Schumacher may have gotten out the way, but had Lewis tried that on Schumacher in the 2004 type eras then it'd have been an accident too. Experience would also tell you that you don't put your car in stupid positions, and Lewis continues to do so.

Lewis needs to understand he can't just pass anywhere by launching his car up the inside and hoping the other car will move out of the way.

He's a great overtaker because he does these sorts of things, but he needs to be less aggressive.

The plus side for Maldonado is he raised his stock a bit at Monaco. Yeah he is supposedly a Monaco specialist, but if you can do well there then you do have the skill required to do well anywhere, you just have to harness it better. I'm not sold on him yet, but he was fantastic at Monaco.

It is funny how he stayed out of the barriers in Monaco (well, sort of) yet on all the other circuits he has either found the wall or spun off and been stranded.

The point of the photo comparison is that what determined a great pass and something idiotic was the defender, since both scenarios were very much the same. Hamilton obviously still at fault though, but it was schumachers experience and awareness which kept him in the race for that pass and allowed Hamilton a "great" pass.

Chavez shouldn't get too involved or Maldonado won't be allowed to race in the US next year :(

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

If I had a crash and started to lose feeling in my legs, I would think about myself first too

I'm just jealous that they have Spa and epic chocolate. :(

I was watching Monaco 96 earlier. Funny to think that Panis would have had a drive through penalty for hitting Irvine, and DC would have won.

Fuck it, they'll probably be grateful for it by this point.
