I'm going for a Lewis win here. Should suit McLaren well. |

Woohoo Monaco!! Lapping could be a big deal here because one of the 2 cars have to leave the Racingline in the progress and picking up the marbles. Cant wait. |

Alonso's lap was amazing and then Kimi bettered it. Fantastic. V10 engines help as well [youtubeidiot]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMc8qy6U1o0[/youtubeidiot] |

Wednesday's press and PR day will be very warm with plenty of sunshine and a maximum reaching 26 Celsius, but from then on conditions will begin to cool down somewhat. Practice on Thursday is set to be a dry affair, but cloud will slowly build from the north as the cold front begins to reach southern parts of France. A high of 23 Celsius is expected on the first day of competition. Monaco's 'day off' on Friday will see further cloud drifting in from the north and north-west, with a possibility of afternoon showers. Temperatures will once again reach 23 degrees, but a moderate southerly breeze will begin to pick up, making conditions feel less inviting. Saturday may prove to be a real test for the drivers as they work through final practice and qualifying. The moderate to strong sea breeze will remain and as the cooling trend takes hold, temperatures will come down and it will be cloudy for much of the day. The cloud could be heavy enough to produce a shower or two during the window of track activity, while temperatures will only reach 20 degrees. Race day should be a good deal better, compared with early forecasts for the principality that we looked at during the Spanish Grand Prix weekend. Most of the showers will clear, leaving Monaco with slightly improving weather. Sunny intervals and partially cloudy skies are expected, but temperatures will pick up a little to 21 or 22 degrees Celsius for the race. The weather picture is complex, mainly thanks to an unseasonably deep low pressure system that is currently affecting parts of the United Kingdom. In a couple of days we will know how the fallout from this will affect Monaco, so check back on Wednesday for a further pre-event update. |

I think this race could prove fascinating regarding the tyre situation. This could be one circuit where you can hold drivers off despite being on completely the wrong tyres. |
