The scenery isn't too bad, I've visited the track last summer and it was actually fun to do. Perfect location, drop the girl on the beach which is litterally 5 meters further and go for a walk. And Valencia is a beautiful city.

But it is true that this is the less interesting part of the city.

Awesome.

Vettel to win by miles, interesting battle for 2nd on back.

I can live with that.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I hate that they call this street circuit.

There aren't any street markings painted and I think we have seen only two drivers crashing to the wall in three years without contact with other car. Coulthard in 2008 practice and Sutil in 2008 race.

I think the Ferrari's will be closer to Red Bull here, the track is similar to Canada in a way with its long straights and only a couple of fast corners.
In Canada they were quick in Q and might have challenged in a dry race. Alonso will be motivated at home as usual.

Second consecutive F1 weekend where I'll hardly see anything from F1, thanks Nürburgring 24 Hours.

If Montreal is a rockin' booze-filled party, Valencia is the prick who calls the cops and ruins it for everyone because "fun isn't allowed".

I'm actually expecting a good race, no race has disappointed so far this year.

edit: I made a DRS map from the information I found on rtlgp

Didn't they put some colorful paint onto the tarmac last year to make it more "attracting for the eyes". Well, they need to do a whole lot more.

I like this track. I know it produces shit racing, but this year ive got a feeling we're in for a good race. With DRS we'll see way more overtaking this year than we've had in the past 3 races at this circuit

is it stil this retarded rule, where the guy in the back at the drs detection line can use drs in both zones or did they switch it to whoever is behind the other driver can use drs in the second zone?

There really needs to be another detection zone between 13 and 14.

About the scenery, do you think it doesn't matter? Do you think it's cool?

This track is BY FAR THE UGLIEST TRACK IN THE CALENDAR TO WATCH ON THE TV and that matter yes, Monaco can be boring sometimes but it's so beautifull that I don't mind.

Valencia has buildings and a port. Bahrain has dust. Although it recently added death and riots to it's scenery.

As far as tracks I'd like to see dropped go, this one isn't even second in line. Barcelona had years to produce good racing and never did, at least Valencia has the excuse of being new. And it has a funky final section which would be even better with worn tyres.

Valencia at least deserves a chance. Bahrain, Barcelona and Magny Cours survive(d) far too long on the schedule for the races they produce as well.

I really enjoy driving this circuit on F1 2010, it's a lot of fun.

Especially the first corner, where you can brake super super late and have to slide the car into the turn.
