So he crashed in Malaysia, twice in Turkey and found the gravel (beached it) in Spain. Looking good so far!

Add in two pre-season amusements to these: leaving the pits at the Abu Dhabi test he revved the engine so much it seriously damaged it, and at Jerez he accidentally activated the DRS in the middle of a flat-out left hander and crashed.

Oh dear.

Vettel using the green tarmac at Turn 3 as the track. Need to turn that back into gravel

Oh dear.

Abu Dhabi rookie test: Leaving the pits he revved the engine too much and damaged it seriously
Jerez test: Activated the DRS in the middle of Turn 4 and crashed
Malaysia: Crashed in the pit entry
Turkey: Spun twice and then whilst trying to recover, he crashed
Turkey: Crashed at Turn 6, breaking the new front wing
Spain: Beached the car at Turn 13

Anything I forgot?

The camera that catches the chicane at the end of the lap makes everything look quite rich. Strange.

Indeed. It was his 4th year of GP2 last year I think. In 2009 he got spanked by Hulkenberg who was a rookie. I never had high hopes for Pastor, he has a tendency to find the nearest gravel trap wherever he goes. At least Hulkenberg got out of a sinking ship though.

Is it a coincidence that Maldondo and EJ Viso are both sponsored by Hugo Chavez and both like to crash?

Thats not the co-incidental part. Just that they're out of their depth

Yeah of course, but still it's an edge to go faster than your team-mate where your being judged. Although at the same time when they were doing laps Jaime did a 28.9 and Ricciardo a 28.4 so still not a bad effort again from Dan.
