Also makes you realise how pathetic we have been in producing top notch drivers since we were at the end of the calendar for so long.

I believe the out-cry and protected interest is related to betting agencies... not the fans.

The new rules aren't there to prevent team orders from occurring when there's a championship on the line and it's the sane thing to do. The rule was created to allow for punishment should race fixing occur (or an act that could be construed as fixing the result of a race for seemingly no strong purpose).

Betting agencies would be crazy to put Kimi at better odds over a place finish to Massa. Because they'd take into account a team switch for the championship.

Betting agencies would not predict an Austria 2002 incident. After this incident, all bets were canceled in most agencies and some agencies even paid out for the win with Barrichello. This cost them money and was bad for F1.

I don't believe the fans played any role in the 2002 rule change.

How can a country be 'pathetic' at producing good drivers?

Compare us to Finland.

We need to inject more money into motorsport.

It's only fair that there's at least one sport that you don't kick ass at.

Would have been solid 10 without the boring SC start and some dull( but luckily short) parts.
So 9 this time. Compared to last year this race was from another planet.
Unbelievably entertaining season start.

9 points from me. Very nice race with a lot of action. I denied the full score because of too much safety car rounds in the beginning

RBR 1-2, Webber best ever result and some great action throughout. Would have been nice for a better fight for the win but given the conditions I think the racing was still pretty good, you wouldn't blame them for being over cautious and attempting less maneuvers. 8 from me.

9 - again very entertaining, action all over the place! But I still want to see how the racing is under 'normal' conditions!

9 - I'm absolutely loving the fact we're getting quality races and battles, and not just blokes spearing left, right and centre affecting the result. Equally as impressive that only 2 cars didn't finish the race - with the exception of some clumsy driving from a couple drivers, everybody behaved themselves and we got some great racing.
