I think it's an OK track. But I'd imagine being a spectator there wouldn't be very fun...

Last years race was extremely boring, but if you look closely at the track, there are some overtaking points. Last years race was boring, becouse there where no battles, not a single driver who came close to overtake someone. So I think this track can host a good race, depends on the drivers.

Motor racing-Renault F1 team win appeal against race ban
PARIS, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Spain's Fernando Alonso and the Renault Formula One team were cleared to compete in this weekend's European Grand Prix in Valencia after winning an appeal against a one-race ban on Monday.
The governing International Automobile Federation (FIA) said in a statement that the suspension had been replaced by a reprimand and fine of $50,000.

I find this incredibly stupid as well. If the decision was s bad it merited a fine how can the "fine" only be $50,000? Goddamn FIA and their knee jerk reactions. Good to see Renault competing.

Glad to see that Renault will have the permission to race at Valencia. But this isn't any kind of gentleness of the FIA.
They only fear the heavy losses of revenues! Without Michael Schumacher's comeback and without the Spanish national hero Alonso a lot of people wouldn't have come to see this GP. I think this re-admission of Renault is only to prevent a negative record of spectator counts. I've heard that they've reduced the stands capacity from 112.000 to 75.000. :o Poor F1, poor FIA... :x

...perhaps they can shove Renault's fine of 50.000 $ in their own pocket to condense their source of income :D

if Bernie stopped asking so much money to organize a race they wouldn't have to ask ridicules entree fees and a lot more people could enjoy F1 races, and then they wouldn't need to reduce the seats
