Sorry if anyone has already mentioned this but isn't Jenson the first driver to have won the Formula Ford Festival and then gone on to win the F1 title.....I think he may be!

Well done Jenson...a very, very deserving World Champion and top bloke!!!

It would be great to hear from the person himself, why he gave this race 0 points? :o

Probably a Vettel or Barri fan.

I gave it 10. Great race, very exciting, and a well deserved champion. Interlagos never disappoints, great track.

He is. Herbert, Irvine and Webber are others who have won GP, while several others have participated.

8. probably FOM's best effort of the year, they only missed a few things. BBC were good, focusing on Button's title celebrations after the race, but I missed a good race analyses. Understandable, but I would've loved to have seen more onboard angles from the startcrash and other incidents like they usually show.

Maybe they need to make an F1 analysis program on monday after the race. Like the Murray Walker review on the red button but longer.

Best race of the season, so a 9. If Abu Dhabi is better than Brazil that race will get a 10 from me.

FOM were actually rather good and BBC, while being a little Button-centric, were not a patch on what ITV were last season. Thank fuck.

A 9 from me.

7, only because SportTV stopped showing their live coverage of qualifying because of a meaningless game of the Italian football league.
Tiago Monteiro really compensates for the other guy, correcting his mistakes and not taking 15 years to finish a sentence.

I really don't understand the voting.

Mark Webber was dominant and had pace in reserve.
Robert Kubica got a BMW on merit onto the podium in the dry and did so from 8th on the grid. Harrying Webber as long as he could and beating a Brawn on merit.
Sebastien Buemi scored Toro Rosso's first point in the dry and never once lost his head.
Raikkonen after nearly getting KO'ed by Webber. Drove around with fuel in his eye and recovered for 6th.
Let alone the recoveries of Hamilton, Vettel and Button.

Kamui Kobayashi's debut was entertaining and spirited but it certainly wasn't the drive of the day. That honour I'll give to Kubica just ahead of Webber.

Webber had clearly the best car and used of unfair manoeuvres once again. Victory was the minimum expected since his team mate started 15th.
Kubica had good pace but we already knew he is good AND BMW IS NOT BAD ANYMORE, the car had big improvements which they couldn't benefit in Suzuka because the wet friday unabled to setup properly a new car and despite that Heidfeld would be 4th without pit mistake(not to mention the wrong gear ratio BMW had)
Buemi didn't impress at all, benefited from wet qualifying and the improvement of Toro Rosso, also was a non-entity in front of Button. He almost parked the car to let Button pass.
Hamilton's result was only due to strategy, nothing exceptional from his driving.
Vettel have the best car and many that started ahead had problems throught the race.
Button did some brave overtakings but only Kobayashi was a real opponent. Grosjean was pathetic and Nakajima useless.

Your arguments are inconsistent imo.
This is the way I see it:

My vote goes to Kobayashi. He's the only one and as a rookie that stepped in F1 in a new car this year and immediately be on pace. He should be on the grid for more races.

People who rate races lower because a certain driver finished in a certain position really annoy me. :(

Kobayashi San. Not a lot of drivers challenge the WC on track and bring it home into the points in their first ever race.

The wild block does not matter, as even experimented drivers like Webber and, years before, M.Schumacher, pulled exactly the same.

Button is a world champion, such a fantastic drive should be the least to expect from him from now on ;)

Kobayashi is classified 9th. He didn't score any points, did he? :?

missed the race, but just seen highlights of it.

How can one fine Trulli for his behaviour? I didn't see him attack Adrian, he just shouted at him in the heat of moment asking if he's blind. No reason for me to fine him???
On the other hand Adrian did nothing wrong, Trulli should've backed of. That was not a place to overtake.
Why is Heikki fined? He set off when the lollipop man raised the board. Are drivers obliged to check the mirrors before leaving? I think it's the responsibility of the lollipop man, that's why he is standing there

But we have an average driver becoming WC again, never liked Button much but he made good profit of the early season peformance of his car. Didn't see him winning much during the last races. Regarding the circumstances I'm happy with it as the WDC would've been too early for Vettel. Shame Rubens is 1b again...

Kubayashi for sure. Made all those guys that entered F1 in the mid-season look total begginers. And a lot of F1 drivers pussies. He's got the balls (or Japan craziness) with skills to do it right.
