I think we shouldn't laugh at Fernando as the dehydration after demanding physical work is a pain in the back. Although those shopped pictures are kinda funny.

Yeah, it has to be very difficult to drive in that kind of circumstances without any water. I think he did a good job by scoring 1 point. But still  at the pope image.

I wonder how many drivers would have lasted like Alonso did.

Something that really does bug me about F1 coverage - when the coverage switches to people in the pits as the cars are lining up on the grid. I hate it. I want to concentrate on the cars.

Not as bad as ITV's BTCC coverage that cuts to a driver's mum in the pits everytime anything happens meaning we miss loads of action.

Kudos to Alonso for his efforts as he hasn't been ill since Sepang due to an ear infection.

6. Good beginning, interesting to see who's where compared to other drivers/teams.
Shit track though, and those grandstands, they weren't even filled. Why don't they leave Bahrain and come back to Zandvoort. I know why but stil it's :(

I picked Button but after hearing Alonso had no water and finished dehydrated and scored a point in that dog of a car maybe he should be driver of the race.

F1 is very physically demanding on the body and that's why these guys are elite athletes. If any of us had been it that situation we'd probably be unconscious.

Notice how there are no McLaren guys in sight.

We would have been unconscious even with a working water supply. And most of us even before half of the race.

I'm surprised to see Hamilton has so few votes that he's only got 2 more than Barrichello, I don't know how slow the McLaren exactly is, but more than 50 seconds ahead of his teammate says really a lot, mine goes to Hamilton.

Then I guess that would be really bad, but unfortunately, the directing for this race is not as good as the first 3 I have to say, mostly at the start, they cut to replays at inappropriate times and missed one really exciting battles just to see the mechanics changing nose cones which is rather meaningless. There were a few confusing times in the mid race too where I thought the director basically went half asleep ,cutting to replays or random cameras and didn't have any idea what he was doing.

It was pretty good, some good battles, but had some boring parts. Happy button won.

Alonso! brave move on Toyota at the hiarpin. Brilliant. Plus, he did this race with a broken water bottle.

Hamilton has same fuel as Button, only 1 tenth slower and can easily jump over him at the start.

Then he would be 4th, besides the fact that Brawn has a very strong race pace cause the car is soft on tyres.

The Toyotas will be a complete non-entity tomorrow. Glock is far too light to play any part, and Trulli's racecraft is average on a good day. They don't have KERS either, so unlike Hamilton, they'll be sitting ducks on the pit straight and the run to turn 4.

Jenson and Lewis could end up running nose-to-tail for the whole afternoon tomorrow.

told ya.

Rtn, falcepalm! :p

I already doubted Toyota once when arguing with ryan86, he was right and I don't doubt Toyota anymore. I won't even compare Toyota with Mclaren cause the woking team is still far behind and will be the entire year imo. Toyotas did the fastest laps of the race in the same pace of Button's. With fuel correction, Trulli's pole was real. The Trulli train in the second stint was due to the prime tyres. The problem of Toyota was Glock, that together with Kovalainen and Webber, was the worst drivers of the race. Atm, there is only 3 top cars: BGP, RBR and Toyota.
Hamilton was a complete nobody to Button who overtook his countrymate the easiest way. I told you Mclaren hadn't pace to fight with Brawn, and things will get worst for Mclaren in Barcelona imo, since there are fast corners in Montmelo.
