Pretty good imo. Both FOM and BBC did a good job as usual. We missed some action in the pits but we saw some new improvements. 8 this time, good commentary, good footage, nice choise of team radio, ...

I'm getting fed up with FOM, their coverage is just boring. Yes they are better than host broadcasters but where are all the gimmicks like line-comparisson, split screen, exciting new onboard and track camera angles, thermal images, tyre temperatures, g-force graphic.

So I'm giving it a 5 and will keep giving a 5 until they have brought back all those things they used once in the past.

Agreed

Mark Webber is very mediocre, Vettel is not.

The F1 championship standings disagree with you.

Kimi is letting me down this race :(. Lets see what hes got to say after the race. Probbably the front wing damage messed up the whole race? :(

they fixed it after first stop, but he didn't get a better pace

He did improve pace actually, if anyone paid attention to the live timing. Kimi set his personal best fastest laptime on one of the last laps and also set the fastest sector 3 time.

Awful race though. I don't know why I keep expecting so much from F1 nowadays.

no, like said before Webber beated Vettel 5/7 times

but still Vettel has more points

that means Vettel is much and much faster, but not very consistent

I think a driver getting more consistent is more likely than one getting faster

although Webber might improve because he has still some metal in his leg

ORF - good as usual  8
RTL - Vettelmania, one good interview ... torture 3
FOM - poor angles on Saturday as they didn't want to show the empty grandstands, race wasn't that good. 5
It has nothing to do with the coverage of Turkey but generally the inserts are far too tiny.

=> thanks to ORF for 5 points

Yeah give him some time, the most important thing is he has the speed, he is worldchampion material, he just needs to learn now to become more consistent.

Vettel is probably a little bit faster than Webber overall but there have been some silly mistakes. If Vettel can just calm down a little he'll be ok. But lets not forget Webber suffered a pretty bad injury and missed out on a lot of testing. + has a plate in his leg. He's doing a really good job and could improve also.

Vettel has greater room for improvement that Webber. Webber is racing like a man who has 7 years experience of F1.
In time I think Vettel will triumph but learning to focus on Sunday more rather than RBR let him have useless strategies for the Sunday is better. Button was always going to win. Despite being heavier he pulled out 5 seconds on Vettel in the first stint.

Eh a pretty boring race overall.

And as for the Red Bull orders thing, what did you expect. Vettel would never of passed anyway, he couldn't pass Button when he was over a second a lap faster! It was the sensible thing to do

Red Bull cant even think about the drivers championship, because to win that they need to find like half a second in race pace! And even then they would need 1-2s for most of the rest of the year if Button/Brawn dont make any mistakes... I just cant see that happening.

Sure if the rest of the field also caught up, but they need to gain even more :P

I didn't see Vettel doing too many mistakes in China. He kept it together there even after he got hit behind the pace car. That could have shaken someone's concentration, but didn't seem to effect on him. He's fast driver and a nice person, something we don't seem to get too much these days.

Just remember Monaco

Do future world champions tear their tyres to shreds after 6 laps when mediocre drivers make theirs last 25 laps, and don't crash?

Yes. They make mistakes you know...like Lewis did at china 07. Look where he got from there last year. Even Senna and Schumacher made mistakes in the beginning of their careers.
