Wow this is actually true, i thought it was just a joke lol.

Very cool though, i like HRT anyways and getting a TBK-Light sticker somewhere on the car or the helmet would make them my fav team.

Whilst I know the Admin of the forum knows Karuns race engineer, do you really think the forum could raise the amount required?

lol, it is a joke. Did you really thought we could raise enough money to put a sticker on a F1 car?

Hello mate, thanks for all the support! I had a look on the forum, raise a tenner and perhaps you can get TBK tattooed on the drivers forehead :)

If he really is your friend, he will place a sticker in Karun's car when no one's watching, for free! :p

Fuckin Awsome!!

I'm going send it on To Rich..

What we have going on here is probably the most epic thing this forum has done, at least since the MotorsTV Le Mans 24h broadcast some years ago.

Where can we donate? :)

Just to ease any fears that "if this is true" etc etc.. There are members here that have met him whilst at a FunCup race (JDH at Snetterton a couple of years ago and MansellsTach at Oulton last year.. Added to the fact his Dad is a member here .. As is Richard himself using an annonymous account..
Added to the point that this is slightly embarrassing for me having to show someone up like this..
This is Richard...
Image

Also, I have E-mailed the pics of the sticker to a customer of mine in the 'sticker manufacturing Trade'.. Actually he deals in stationary but he said he can look at it for me..
Lastly I have looked at all the pro's and cons (cost implications) of it and I'm going to open a PayPal account..
My intention would be to post anyone a sticker for a small donation..
I will be with Richard at some point this coming season (i've not checked so I'm not too sure which FunCup races he is attending due to the F1..if any).. But I'm sure I will bump into him at some point.. And I don't think it will take much convincing to put a sticker somewhere (even if it's a practice session) in return for some 'Coffee money'
and as Richard pointed out to me .."Its never a positive sign when the drivers name takes up advertising space!"...
So do u really believe that they are going to be too bothered with a 6" x 3" sticker somewhere funded by a bunch of enthusiastic fans?
(Especially as i'm going to get them on the FunCup cars this year too!)

A little small sticker for like a practice session or something could be possible especially when Eddington knows him pretty well. I don't care if it doesn't happen, just would be cool if it did happen.

if you want to be on FOM's radar this is an amazing idea.

Especially on a sponsorless car this one will get noticed and someone will check it out. Type in TBK Light on google and the first hit is us.

Even though I would love the idea of ending up on a F1 car I think it will backfire.

if you do it, make sure it isnt traceable to this site. If it is, the next fundraser will be to pay one of the member's fine to FOM or NASCAR or someone else.

You could register a new site. Make sure its not the same guy that owns this URL and put it on another host. Call it HRT Fan's or something.

People from here will know the way to there but the other way (from there to here) will remain secret.
We all know its us but under a different name.

This idea is gaining momentum

If your worried about FOM why not just have TBK written on instead of light aswell, as on a quick google search: Flamefame is 2nd but Light is nowhere in sight

There is a related searches for Tbk Light by google but is that possible to be took down?

Would that also mean that, if I see Richard at Montréal during the Thursday pitwalk and tell him "TBK-Light !", I'd get pit access ? :p

if you would make the video and photo forums invisible to anyone who has less than 50 posts or something, we would pretty save
I doubt FOM would take the time to make 50 useful posts (spam members would be banned I guess?), regular members have a lot more than 50 messages

if this would happen it would be great, but I'm not sure they would put the sticker on the car or helmet for nothing :p
