Legard to me is just Meh. He's not great, (Murray, Edwards) and he's not annoying (Allen) so he just kinds of blends into the background for me.

Bringing back Allen will be the stupidest thing ever. Besides, he's now got Peter Windsor's old job so he's not exactly out of work.

Either way, even Darrel Waltrip is more fair than Allen, and I don't know if "fair" and "DW" should be on the same sentence at all.

I don't find anything wrong with Legard but he doesn't have the flare of other commentators like Ben Edwards and the two superbike commentators. Give it time and the BBC may replace him at the end of the season. I think that because we are seeing boring races the commentators tend to be a bit boring.

The BBC should employ Brundle and Edwards.

Might be in the minority, but I think he's improved a lot since the start of the season. Granted it wasn't hard given how awful he was, but I haven't found myself getting so annoyed with him in recent races.

Paying out a commentator will acheive nothing so get used to him. The BBC employed him because he worked for the Radio, so his style may be a little more radio orientated. Yes they could have got Ben Edwards but they didn't so there is nothing we can do except a "Ben Edwards to the BBC" petition.

Brundle should be main commentator with Legard being a contributor, kind of how they did in the WTCC with David Leslie being there to interject when useful.

I hate that Legard interrupts Brundle all the time; Brundle generally says things of more interest to me.

But maybe Brundle is happy with how it is at the moment.

Legard's a bit dull and certainly nothing special but he's a million times better than that cretin. Hopefully Allan is too busy with his new job powerwashing wheelie bins or something.
