Oh, please. He hardly said anything positive. Saying that Hitler got some things done right is like saying that George W. Bush wasn't actually the worst thing for the American economy. Bernie just tried to say something nice about him, that's it. Move on.

I'm not offended by the interview neither give a shit about Bernie's political views. I do feel annoyed at the idea Bernie has that any publicity is good publicity for F1, even presenting F1 to the public as something run by a bunch of nazi old men. Because that's what the average dude reading the news will think.

I'm sure in a few years time people might look back fondly on the days when Max and Bernie told people what they were doing and they did it instead of being hamstrung by the inertia that would occur if the teams were to try and make all the decisions themselves.

Getting shit done and being able to control countries like Saddam is hardly something positive if you do it by eliminating anything that is critical or stands in your way. It seems Bernies ideal would be more like current day China (shit gets done there), but if he was an actual chinamen he would long have been thrown in jail for no good reason for having too much wealth and power. Democracy can be pretty shitty but at least your pretty much free to do and think what you want... eh Bernie?

Bernie does NOT say he likes Hitler. He says Hitler could get things done, and that has nothing to do with liking him or not. What he ment was that in this current situation with everybody saying his mind, it is very difficult to get an agreement, to get things done. Sometimes you need a dictator to get somewhere. He could have used any dictator to make his point clear.
When Hitler spoke, everybody did what he said without arguing for months and months. So, when Hitler needed something to happen, it happened. And what Bernie says is that sometimes he wish that this would also be possible in F1.

Mind you, dictators weren't always bad. Many dictators have achieved great things, just because they could work their plans out. And mayby you don't know it but hitler did a lot of good things too. people seem to forget that.

Bernie is right, Hitler was good in leading and managing his people, the negative point is that he used that gift for very bad things

He is an idiot. His statement was almost completely false. Adolf Hitler never 'got anything done'- it was others who did it for him, with the exception of a few foreign policy successes.
