I don't get why FOTA did this considering Max gave them a very good comprimise deal that was practically the same as the one they themselfs asked for.

I agree, in this case Bernie was right that this fight clearly wasn't about the rules but about the power in F1.

I'm stilling hoping for a solution, as always, but if this goes through I'll curse all the people involved in F1 right now. Sixty years of beautiful racing and these retards are destroying it.

My last post makes me look like the biggest noob. Haha.

Very interesting. I honestly did not expect this. Can't wait to read the circuit suggestion thread. I have sooo many!! Will be nice not having BS punishments and out-of-a-hat penalties.

If the 8 remain with FOTA, then I can't see FIA's F1 being the best. The teams take the history. And I am sure they will try and secure some of the historic tracks (the ones that remain, anyway) to establish themselves early (as opposed to getting A1GP style tracks).

this rises questions

will the new championship race at the same weekends to stab F1 even more?

what will the tv-stations do? I can't see small tv-stations like the Belgian one broadcast both

will the FOTA-teams deliver customercars to F1? because now they aren't in F1 anymore they can + it helps them developing their cars

why would they do that? Let the FIA / FOM / F1 or whatever sort it out themselves. If they want 40 million budget teams, well let them put the Cosworth engine in a GP2 car, and they have their 40 million budget teams.
