I didnt know whether to make a new thread or not and if mods feel it doesnt warrant it then merge it with the RDT Thread.

Interview with Fernando Alonso about his thoughts for the season and where he believes every car to be currently.
Good Interview. Alonso speaks his mind...of course that doesn't endeavour him to many [particularly Brits] but its good to see.
The Spanish Reporter is so ridiculously optimistic about everything for Alonso

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHD6iuLRDN4

For those that cba watching the 8 Minutes. He rates

Teams [currently]

1. BrawnGP
2. BMW Sauber
3. Ferrari
4. Toyota
5. Renault
6. RBR
7. Mclaren
8. Williams
9. STR
10. Force India

Drivers
I think
1. Fernando Alonso
3. Kimi Raikkonen
5. Lewis Hamilton

- He believes the field to be incredibly tight. Even more so than last season
- Isn't too worried about Renault being 5th fastest
- Chance to be Champion: 7/10 in comparison to 0/10 for 2008
- Chance to win Aus: 5/10...although its not enough for the interviewer

Heh, good interview - cheers for posting.

I like Alonso and hope he has a good season. I still personally believe he caused half his problems at McLaren in 2007, but it's good for the sport if he's up there fighting at the front.

i would love his predictions to be near the truth, it's about time we had a changing of the guard at the top. been Ferrari/Mclaren for far too long now.

When Alonso seems to be happy that usually means good chances to win. I hope so 8)

yea he is a good driver :)

i couldnt help feeling though last year when he won the two races back to back that the commentators suddenly realised who alonso was - and started saying stuff like the complete driver etc.... even though 2 races before they didnt even know his name

be great comeback if he could win some races and the champ :D
