Thinking about it, they surely missed a chance to give themselves a new team name to really underline the Americaness of the project!

Something like TARFY - Team America Racing, Fuck Yeah! Got any other ideas?

While Windsor was positively gushing in his praise for Bernie Ecclestone following his support of the USF1 project - the Englishman allowed the team to use the official 2008 season film used at the FIA Awards Gala for promotional purposes in terms of investors and sponsors

Windsor mentioned that dvd earlier... old link

"Anything that we need he has tried to help us with. A good example is the DVD of the lovely edit he did of the 2008 Formula One season, which we have been using as part of our presentation to investors here in the United States."

If that's really just the highlights video and not something more specific... New team needs support and Bernie offers a copy of a dvd.

FFS FOM, are you that out of touch with reality?

Oh god!! the horror!! Imagine a new team in F1 which has the name F1 in it!!
Would be even worse if they actually show up and race!!

Too bad F1 is too much business....in the early years I recon all teams would change their name to [teamname] F1 just to piss off FOM....

I am seriously surprised, and a little gutted that he didn't do F2 this year. He's beaten a couple of guys that have driven F1, and even beat Buemi in the FR NEC. Beat Hartley, too.
