Sure am! Given I'm coming from the other side of the planet, I figure I might as well see a few races! Plus Monaco has always been on the bucket list

How rich are you :8: ?

Now I understand why you have no reason to complain about things

Look like the track has had the Richmond sealer treatment so will be super slippery

   I've tried to keep costs as low without staying in Hostels etc. but yea, this is kinda a once in a life time trip, so am ticking off a few things along the way! I'm like in the luxurious position of having these big ticket events only a few hours away. Although to be fair, the 3 days at Monaco including gold seats on the Sunday cost me around 1200 euros which given how much you see tickets going for at Miami and Vegas, I actually didn't think was totally ridiculous, and my accommodation in Menton the next bay around is a nice apartment for around 500 euros for 5 days which yes, is still a bit steep, but it IS near Monaco during race weekend. But if you want to know the real secret to having money, being single with no kids helps

That secret isn't working for me since I don't have kids, but I guess that's because I live in Poland lol xD

Sounds like an amazing trip. Enjoy it! Had a week in the Dolomites last year and loved it. Lago di Sorapis was my highlight, albeit busy when we went.

When you have a wife and kids, you don't necessarily lose the money, but the freedom to say See yah, I'm back in 3 days/weeks/months!

I suggest to ignore the Chinese GP and continue to chat about personal stuff through the weekend!

Remember to visit Prince Albert's Car Collection Museum if you have time. Wonderful exhibition, and not just F1 cars but covering the whole history of automobile. Was there in 2021.

I was in Monaco in 2019 and didn't even know that this collection exists!

The aquarium wasn't bad either though.

This. I'm off to the Maldives next week, despite being in a cost of living crisis and having a mortgage. I'm by no means rich either. I've made plenty of mistakes in my life but none call me Dad

As Homer Simpson once said, "why do I have three kids and no money and not three money and no kids"

I am what was once upper middle class in Melbourne, and with 2 kids and a mortgage currently the only way we're staying afloat at the moment is a shitload of grocery and petrol vouchers my wife inherited from an old job. When those run out it's time to get my kidneys valued.

All sooking aside, enjoy the trip
