Just realized Bearman is the first driver who was born after I joined TBK. If the old forum was online, I could probably find my post from 8 May 2005 (probably posting Spanish GP video clips). Internet Archive only goes to 2004.

The first time I felt old in my life was in 2014 when KMag debuted. It was the first time the grid had a driver whose father I had also watched competing.

I remember when I first saw Lance Stroll featuring on the Ferrari Academy, still racing karts, saw that 8 year old kid on the ferrari roster and laughed. Years later saw him flipping his car at Monza and thinking "look at this tool"

funny that I never felt old seeing those young kids in F1. Maybe is because I'm used to see young riders arrive at MotoGP after barely completing 18

now, guys younger than me are retiring after a long and successful career. Only Alonso is older than me.

I remember Max Verstappen and Mick Schumacher being born, as their fathers were racing and these things made the news.

Nowdays, I have no idea which drivers are married or have kids, they've all become more private about it.

I remember when they announced Kvyat and Kelly Piquet's daughter had born, it was just minor news, now her stepdad is a 3 time world champion :lol:

but they only mentioned the birth and that's all

Alonso is the only one who has raced against drivers who were born after his F1 debut. There are now three of them: Piastri, Lawson and Bearman.
