Ah, Imola. Can't help loving Imola, its hilly vistas, lush vegetation, old villas and the sea of tifosi. Amidst the ever more common street circuits and cityscapes, Imola feels like a health ranch where you can relax and revitalise - and enjoy motorsport.

Looking very much forward to the weekend, indeed. I already enjoyed WEC 6h race a few weeks ago (although it was spiced-up by the weather conditions). Furthermore, it's great to have full support package for the first time this season, i.e, F3/F2/Porsches. Given the amount of gravel traps (and the newly installed ones), it will be very easy to end your session by beaching it. That will add extra challenge for the drivers which I always welcome.
Should be a dry weekend, but it's still early to tell for sure.

Ah, the first real classic racetrack of the season.
Hard to tell how the race will be as we have had 3 wet years in a row, but it is one I´m looking forward to.

Went to the "race" last year. Even though no racing, the setting is amazing. going again this weekend, cannot wait. The walk from the station to the circuit alone will bring goosebumps, could feel it last year with no one there. I think Vettel will be there driving Senna's old McLaren.

Agree, there's something about Imola that I always look forward to. Probably the fact that it's a narrow, punishing circuit, surrounded by beautiful greenery. I never liked it after the first two chicanes were added, but the recent changes seem to have improved it again. I wouldn't complain if there's some rain again (just not the floods, please).

At the very least its a F3 and F2 weekend so there'll be plenty of good racing even if the Grand Prix is dull

"Formula 1 MSC Cruises Gran Premio del Made in Italy e dell'Emilia-Romagna 2024"

They're going to get so long we're going to have to start abbreviating them

Us locals down under call the Australian Grand Prix "AGP" I wonder if Italians call this the MSCGPDMIIeD'E-R 2024

kinda remembers the first time IndyCar went to São Paulo and the broadcaster (who was also the promoter) had to say Itaipava São Paulo Indy 300 presented by Nestlé each time they had to call the event

Who cares about the name, it's just the grand prix of San Marino or Imola. No fan calls any of the races by its sponsored name

in Motorcycle racing the Italian GP was named Nations Grand Prix until 1990

funny that the San Marino GP is named officially Gran Premio [sponsor] di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini

Was finally able to fulfill my dream of being on pole position at an F1 circuit  Some photos from last year, shame about the floods washing out the event.
