well Prost had a slump in Ferrari and took a sabbatical before returning to a dominant car (in which he never felt that comfortable) but managed to win anyway

if Ferrari shows up with a new F2004 who knows

True, although worth remembering Alain joined a team with a massive competitive advantage and was up against a rookie team mate. Lewis is likely to have - at best - the second-best car next year and Leclerc is definitely no slouch.

But it's a chance to reset himself and that might be all he needs. I imagine being stuck in the situation he is right now is pretty demoralising; Mercedes are going backwards and clearly have very little idea why and how they can fix it. They're likely going to be treading water and hoping 2026 shakes things up in their favour.

New idea is to award Top 12 points. Seems like throwing a pity bone to the non-power 5 teams.

If they give points for two more cars, then F1 should have two more cars...like Andretti :whistling:

they could return to the 03-09 points system but with 12 points to the winner taking 1 point for each position until 12

Honestly I cant see Newey working for Ferrari. He stuck around Red Bull so long because they gave him pretty much all the freedom he wants. At Ferrari it will be all business and perform from day 1.

Ferrari is going to run a blue and white livery in Miami to celebrate the NART car from the 60s.

An actual blue and white livery, or red with blue and white elements?

A not red Ferrari is rare in F1! I can only remember the yellow Ecurie Francorchamps cars in the 60´s

Ferrari is still missing a golden chance to run both a full black and a full white car to remember the cars from Miami Vice

Just looked it up, the last time a not red Ferrari raced in F1 was the Mexican GP in 1964.

Well, their new front engined V12 is going to debut that weekend and it is heavily rumored to have Ferrari Daytona design cues.

Based on the merch, looks like it might be an all blue livery.
