Imagine Hamilton/Verstappen at the height of the 2021 battle, crammed together in the limo

Yeah, if Russel was there it would be something. Already looking forward for next year and what will it bring. If they still have this podium there. Doesn't look like it was worth the trip. Thought they were going inside the sphere.

Lol, just for the interview, now back for the podium? Big advertisement for the Cassino, wonder how much they payed for that.

Aw, it might also be to wait for the structure to be put into the track.

that long wait was just a smokescreen so they could steal the Bellagio's safe

thankfully Macau went red to wait so I could watch the end haha

Great race, track looked good, ceremony and fireworks display were obnoxious (in a good, Vegas way)... this is great end to the 2023 season.

See you guys for next season!!

cannot say the race was bad, race conditions provided a tough one for the drivers plus the Baku profile is setting the tone for further street tracks willing to join F1

Had to run an errand during the race. So I come home, open the F1 TV app, and select "Watch from Start" but it still drops me in the live telecast itself, right as the podium ceremony is happening.

On the bright side, perhaps it's good I didn't have to sit through yet another Verstappen victory. But yes, be warned that the app is a stupid piece of crap.

I'd say this one is was worth skipping the highlights and watching the full replay of!

On the Verstappen/Leclerc turn 1 incident... I'm going to give Max the benefit of the doubt on this one given the obvious lack of grip, and from that point on Red Bull did the sensible thing by leaving him out front and assuming the worst they'd get is a 5 second penalty, which is exactly what happened. As usual the problem is with the rules but I'm not sure what the solution is. You can't always just put the driver back behind whoever he pushed off because they might have gone on to retire or something. I think quicker steward decisions and something like the penalty box in DTM would work well, to ensure they lose track position.

I really hope they revise the penalties for next season. Imo penalties should not be part of strategy

I don't think I ever had a race fly by so fast like this one. Good stuff. Glad they pulled it off at the end. Really want this GP to succeed.

It used to be a DT that you'd have to take within 3 laps. Changing it to a 5 sec penalty at the next stop just gave drivers the chance to void it.

This race wasn't bad at all, even though it was almost all ways DRS aided.

What's the point of Miami again?

Miami is in part promoted by the owner of that stadium where the track is. I guess they'll try to make it a night show in the following years

during the broadcast Jacques said he received a 74 page sheet noting all the celebrities attending the race, they lost a golden opportunity to handpick 20 of those to race Clios around

Have to admit, that race wasn´t bad at all. Nice battle between 3 cars overtaking and reovertaking all over.

I had me expectations of it being shite and I'm happy to have been proven wrong. Even with a Max win and my driver crashing out early.

I do look forward to next year and I hope it's not a one horse race.

That said, America doesn't need three races so Miami can fuck off.

first lap today remembered a bit the first lap at Portimão in 2020, when the track was seriously lacking grip. Is a frightening situation for drivers, but loads of fun for us watching

I wonder why don't they go to this kind of situation where tires work outside their regular temperature window to make it more difficult for drivers, perhaps because they'll threat to walk off on safety basis
