Verstappens last retirement was Australia 2022, since then he finished in the points 33 races in a row, winning 27 of them.

That, and the low downforce package of Monza results in a much lesser speed delta with DRS versus other circuits.

It's cool he's breaking all the records, but what if it continues next year? If 2024 is going to be identical...

True, I'd completely forgotten about the low wings/df package lessening the effect of DRS overall as well.

I´m not saying Verstappen holds the record. I´m just impressed that of those 33 races, he failed to win only 6 of them.
(Not counting sprint races ofcourse, because who cares about those.)

After the race, Sainz had his watch robbed. His staff and Carlos himself chased the robbers who were caught by police later.

Recently I've seen a lot of "news items" which I put away as typical internet shit stirring.

Hamilton constantly saying the rules should be changed because RBR's dominance is bad for the sport. Toto claiming Lewis is the only driver capable of admitting fault.

I'm not sure what to think of it since surely they cannot be that hypocritical and out of touch with reality. Or are they really losing their marbles?

Press effect, I reckon. I think Wolff and Horner are genuinely bitches, but at the moment Horner doesn't really have anything to complain about so they concentrate on Toto and Lewis.

Yeah they'll say something and the clickbait press will stir it up for clicks. Usually a throw away comment but blown out of proportion.

Honestly the talk about changing rules to combat domination have always been around. Recently Horner was complaining that no one ever said that about Merc and people found articles from 2015 with Horner saying just that. I'm sure some of it's just shit-stirring.

It's the same with all the trolls still bitching about Abu Dhabi 21 and saying the FIA and Red Bull are in bed together.

For years, I would say Curva Grande to Roggia has the best non-DRS battles in the season.

So I guess news are usually the same, the only thing that changes are the parties involved

Peak FIArrari was probably Spa 2008. Maybe Italy 2006 also, with that Alonso blocking penalty.

All this criticism about Perez from within Red Bull and the paddock is frankly baffling. I mean, sure we'd all expect the 2nd driver in that dominant car to be far closer to Verstappen. But is that really necessary? He's on track to help Verstappen win his 3rd WDC, rarely ever tangles/squabbles with Verstappen on-track, isn't quick enough to stress him out at all, doesn't create controversy or demand equal #1 status, and while his qualifying performances are often lacking, he's one of the feistiest drivers on race day and often finishes in a competitive position without making too many errors unlike the other 2nd drivers that Red Bull previously employed. Not sure what more they need from that 2nd seat tbh.
