Max is on Schumacher level at the moment. Car, Team, Driver all working perfectly. Only ones that can beat Red Bull are Red Bull.

I hope they do what McLaren and Williams failed to do when they had similar untouchable machinery. Win every race.

When you ignore the front there were plenty of battles

Having issues understanding the concept of it.

Norris (Around the outside of Malmendy)

Gasly (sneaking around the outside of Les Combes)

Albon (sneaking outside of Blancimont)

Overtakes of the race.

That's about all that was worth watching, but it was worth watching for that .

good to see drivers behaved well today even during tricky conditions

also kudos to race direction to not force VSC or SC when Piastri stopped, or pulling penalties out of their asses

Each their own opinion, but if you couldn´t find any entertainment from what they showed during the race, then I don´t know what will entertain you. There was no battle for the lead but I think we have had about 20 of those in the past 200 races. But there were enough battles behind to keep the entire race interesting to watch.

Gasly did it around Fagnes (on Albon) all the way to Stavelot didn't he? Les Combes was Ocon on Tsunoda. Unless Gasly did another move at Les Combes, wouldn't be surprised.

Gasly explained after the race that Alpine had no straightline speed this week-end, so they had to find more creative ways around. Really cool to watch

Time for the summer break. :tumble:

Just about sums up the last 2 years tbh. Not exactly the most thrilling stuff.

Pirelli needs to bring back those sponge tyres from early 2012

At least there's IndyCar to keep one entertained.

now that F1 is on a break is time for the stats

.45th victory for Max Verstappen
-8th in a row (2nd best overall)
-13th podium finish in a row (4th best overall)

.104th victory for Red Bull
-13th consecutive win (extends record)
-12th consecutive win in one season (new record)

.20th pole position start for Charles Leclerc (equals Damon Hill and Valtteri Bottas)

.12th win in a row for Honda RBPT (or just Honda)

Teams will just adapt and drive the pace needed to make them last :( We need Pirelli to bring random tyres each weekend to throw a curve ball at the teams

or Pirelli could simply not brand the tires and let the teams figure out which is each, but then we'll be sliding into WWE on on 4 wheels here

Teams have to figure out track conditions, so they are adapted at doing that. I guess the argument the teams would have is that random tyres would be a safety issue

So, at what point do we collectively switch from rooting for a non-RBR winner to rooting for RBR to win them all? In the end that too will be a historical feat that Only McLaren (1988) and Mercedes (2016) has gotten very close to but never pulled off.

Verstappen will have to have a mechanical problem some day, or a crash. And Perez has his good days but will not always be there to fill the void. So I really can´t believe Red Bull will win them all.
