Yay, total 44 min + 30 min worth of F1 on Saturday. (*Chandler voice*): Couldn't there be any less F1 racing?
Well, at least there's F2, F3 and Porsches to provide track action, otherwise it would be silly for anyone to even travel there on Saturday.
Assuming there's even racing on Saturday. Looks very wet, but as always, the forecast may change. But that's really the only thing I like about sprint weekend, that the chance of wet racing is doubled.

They'll just cancel it IIRC, there won't be time on the Sunday if they have to make up time in the schedule+the whole 2 hour gap between the last support race and F1 necessatated by the rules

Or they'll say "Ok there's no time for it here, but we can make time for it at somewhere you don't want to see it, like Singapore or Abu Dhabi"

Everyone expecting rain on Sunday except the German model.

Most certainty is about wet friday and saturday, probably heavy rain and long periods of rain.
So red flag.

Dr. Ricciardo will make sure he doesn't.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

What if Perez is only ill tomorrow? Ricciardo will do fp1 and qualy. Perez is fit to drive on Saturday, he will do sprint qualy and sprint race.

Will Ricciardo do the grand prix then? He qualified for the grand prix, not Perez. God I hate sprint race weekends. I hope this will happen to prove how bad the rules are for sprint race weekends

rules say that a driver to be able to take race must do at least one practice. If it's Danny at the wheel, he'll go all the weekend

Di Resta did only a qualifying and a race for Williams one time. They changed the rules? I thought qualy counted as practice.

Don't know about sprint weekends, but I believe that in regular weekends they need to a practice session. What happened with De Vries and Hulk was that they did FP3.

So red flag.

Currently it seems the only session affected by rain will be SPRINT SHOOTOUT (or whatever it should be called). In other words, the least interesting session. Obviously, both sprint race and GP will be fully dry.
And if we get mixed grid for the sprint, it will make sprint look better than real GP, and Domenicalli will demand 15 sprint races for next year. :slaphead:
Dear F1 gods, save us.

More likely for Domenicali to fill Bernie wet dream (bah dum tss) of placing sprinklers for wet sprints with increased chances of yakety sax (and many team protests regarding price of damage repairs)

Whoever is right this weekend is declared the new TBK weather expert. If it's indistinguishable, fight to the death with blades.
