Well behaved, everyone. No (V)SC after all this is a feat. Kudos to Wittich as well.

RAIN actually fell, all that suspense, suprise, sliding and skidding, and we still end up with pretty much the same finishing positions as how they started lol

The rain made the race though, thank goodness.

These drivers are so good nowadays. You used to expect half the field in the wall with a mid-race shower like that

that's because is Monaco and any overdrive means you're out. Have this rain fell in Spain they would be on radio with the "undriveable conditions" blabbering because they want to keep the dry pace

anyway great race, only a handful of drivers left their brains out

Throw a mid race downpour and still hardly any retirements or a single SC/VSC. Fair play to the drivers… except Stroll

Just two or three more races and Red Bull will tell Sergio: Checo, you've had your fun, but that title, it's not going to happen you know? So could you please just stick to the supporting role, that would be easier for all of us.

Aston Martin should think about their 2023 goals. Do they want 2nd in constuctors, or do they want to keep Stroll. Both will not be an option I think. Alonso can't fight off two great drivers in a Mercedes on his own.

Didn't watch the full race as I was flying back home. But managed to watch it right when it started to rain.

It felt very weird. These big cars, that don't handle rain very well in such a tight track. It felt awkward. It looked like I was watching old cars from NASCAR racing in a road track.

I don't think any cars on slicks handle rain tbh I'm amazed it lasted as long as it did with them scrabbling around on slicks in the rain....

Hell Magnussen left it too late but I couldn't believe he could keep slicks on as long as he did and not be just in the wall immediately

Yea, I was very impressed with the lack of carnage given the conditions. Perez's save through the swimming pool exit though was quite something!

Sainz was very lucky when he slid off. To do that at Monaco of all places and get away with it.
