Did anyone take more risks because allegedly there are no implications on Sunday?

There are number of people who complain about certain drivers.

Well, the sprint propaganda has toned down in the last few months. Even Liberty can't manipulate this crap that much - especially that pitstop strategy is non-existent in them.

the car had a hole punched out from slight contact

I believe that Verstappen drives faster the more pissed he gets

I mean I get why Verstappen is pissed as Russell was fairly aggressive. But it's no different at all than what Verstappen has done to others countless times. Furthermore, the throttle works both ways Max. If you thought there wasn't enough space for both cars, you had every opportunity to back out of it...

Well that sucked, not surprisingly on this boring track. Never good racing here, only chaos because of crashes and restarts makes some races watchable at Baku.

"Expect it next time the same", he says, like the entire grid doesn't already know what he is like. All he's doing here is announcing to everybody how easily rattled he is by a dose of his own medicine, which is only going to invite more of it. It's a good thing.

I find amusing the amount of good racecraft Russell and Max had. Any other driver there and it would be Perez and Ocon scruffing into the wall

Wait, you actually want more practice sessions that mean jack shit as the teams have their setups honed because of simulations, and practice is more or less just going out there and confirming their sim data was correct :?

I feel I keep repeating the same things since the first sprint race in 2021.
I just want more track action. If I had bought 200€ tickets, what would I get for Saturday? Barely 1 hour of F1 action. 2 hour should be minimum. I would prefer 3 hours.

Primarily I'm against these gimmicks because they dilutes Sunday GP's specialty. If we have already gotten enough entertainment by the end of Saturday, then Sunday 2-hour might feel uninteresting.
Also, all these changes were done to bring more Crypto.com sponsorship money and social media exposure, both of which should be that last reason to change Sports's rule. You don't change Football rules just to make them appeal new fans. They shall remain the same for centuries to come. So should F1, because it's a sport like Football, not entertainment.

Fair call on the track action on Saturday, I'd argue the quality vs quantity, but if I were at a race track I wouldn't be glued to my seat for practice, but I would for sprint qualy/sprint race.

I do find it odd you want F1 to remain the same for centuries to come :? as it's one of the most dynamic ever changing sports in the world

Gosh reading some of the above comments, gosh some of you are a fkcn miserable. I reckon if the F1 paid you in gold to watch F1, you'd then complain it was too heavy to lift

The 100,000 odd people that attended Melbourne BEFORE Saturday and Sunday disagreed with your statement about not being glued to their seats for practice. Hell, the thousands of people that attended the THURSDAY practice also disagree with you. You did know that the GP weekend had a Thursday session?

I still stand by my statement, I'm for more meaningful track action than cars just trundling around

Very little potential for anything interesting to happen in this race

Magnussen radio'd about a small amount of wing damage so expect a red flag for debris soon
