I would accept even 5 GPs in the US provided that they only race on classic old circuits like IMSA - and without any modifications to the tracks whatsoever.

New circuit? No. Street circuit. Please god no. New night race at a street circuit? GTFO.

Practice on Friday at the Aus GP looks like it will be wet but chances for rain on Saturday are low and Sunday are even lower.

Came onto TBK with anticipation of everyone blowing their top over Domenicali's comments about removing practice, what's going on guys? Not like the F1 thread to not be awash with negativity :o (edit, lol just read a few posts above)

It's Domenicali being Domenicali. He's just Liberty's puppet.

Liberty -> Domenicali: "Make us more money FAST. Something that won't require hundreds of millions research and technological changes and years of bureaucracy. We hate that kind of thing about this Form-something...whatever it's called."
Domenicali -> Liberty: "It's called Formula 1. I will change the weekend format. Do you want to change Saturday or Friday?"
Liberty -> Domenicali: "We don't care. Whatever makes more money".
Domenicali -> Liberty: "Roger roger".

It´s not like they haven´t brought up this "new" plan at least twice a year for the past 15 years...

Liberty master plan will be discard all non the track action that doesn't involve potential contact between cars (given they tried a lot to create mayhem with slower cars on qualifying)

then all races will have a sprint race with grid positions defined by lottery, then race grid defined by sprint race reverse grid

your turn, Nascar

Pole will go to the highest bidder, but it goes off of your budget cap. The more you spend on pole, the less can go to car development or, in case of Red Bull, catering.

The fastest car will rely on its speed so it will start from the back.

Monaco costs triple the amount.

Craig Pollock announces intention to bring equal-gender team to F1 based out of 'somewhere in the middle east':

I like the vision, don't like the odds of it happening.

I'm 100% for equal rights but I always cringe when I hear this 50/50 stuff.
Hire the best person for the job.
If a woman is better at the job, hire her. If a man is better at it, hire him. If you just wanna piss money away because you want to be equal, lemme give you my bank account and piss some of that money my way.

You know who I root for? Driver X who shows great skills, daring moves, pure racepace.

You know what I don´t care about at all? The sex, gender, colour of driver X.

You know who I´ll hate? Driver X or team X that goes to the grid saying LOOK AT MEEEEE! LOOK AT MY COLOUR! LOOK HOW DIVERSE WE ARE!

Yeah, and it's always for top business jobs. Never for sewer diving or garbage collector. There it doesn't matter if it's 100% male, because it's not prestigious work.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

equal gender team based "somewhere in the middle east"? I guess they're building a wind tunnel on a USAF air base
