Alfa Romeo ditches Orlen for a crypto casino scam and Orlen moves to AlphaTauri. Maybe we'll see a red and blue AT?

And Kubica is leaving F1 for good with 99 races in the end.

can't Orlen demand him to be attached to the team as a tie in condition for the sponsorship agreement?

Yes but if the team doesnt accept that Orlen can either not sponsor the team or ditch Kubica.

He´s 38 years old. It´s time for his F1 retirement anyway.

what disappoints me more about Kubica is the lost potential, he was destined to be one of the anti-Vettels from the early 2010's

Of course you're right. I think altogether it was a good decision to retire and Robert can now focus on other projects.

From other news - apparently this new Alfa Romeo title sponsor will pay 30mln per season (Orlen used to pay around 10mln). Alfa will probably have it's own Rokit/Rich Energy. Hope they have good lawyers ;)

That colour combo could go quite well.

Ford has been talked about, but seems like a huge missed opportunity for Honda

Can't find a more suitable thread for this, but it's 2023 and pretty random... this guy kept popping up in my Instagram feed with his bike-engined single seater and 'abandoned' F1 cars. It looks like he found that long-ago-posted graveyard of old F1 replicas and bought a few:

Could have given us some interesting background to those cars, seeing as they have been doing the rounds on the internet for over a decade with no real information, but no, it's the 2020s so he's grifting people into thinking they are 'real F1' and that he has a working one that is definitely not fibreglass over a tube chassis with a bike engine...

Some people have tried to call him out on the obvious bullshit, but he either ignores them or claims they don't know anything about F1 :slaphead:

Are they coming up with "shocking breaking news" that surprises nobody every 6 months until 2026? Just so the fans don´t forget they exist?

Funnily enough, that Fred Cars guy actually had his 'Ferrari' painted up like a C12 previously...
