Logical, never understood why c4 kept doing their own commentary when they only showed highlights. 4 uk commentary teams was a bit much, now it's down to 3 (I'm counting the bbc radio commentary too)

Does anyone else still play the free f1 manager game on f1manager.info? They have still not updated their site to the 2023 season, I wonder if they ended the game or if I´m looking at the wrong place.

News on the F1TV team: Alex Jacques returns full-time as lead commentator, with Palmer and Hinchcliffe doing colour. Coulthard will do some guest appearances as well.
Sam Collins stays as technical expert and Buxton will lead the presenting team.

Huh, so either Channel 4 is using F1TV's commentary feed, or Ben Edwards is back? :?

Sounds like it'll be Channel 4 using the F1TV feed. Also the F1TV commentary will be used for race highlight videos on the F1 Youtube channel this year, having previously used Sky. Less Crofty and more Jacques is always a good thing

People actually like Alex Jacques? Crofty might not be the best but at least he has a grasp of English. Have a shot every time Jacques says "over the road" instead of "off the track". You'll be bladdered in no time.

Imola will be used to test out a qualifying idea. Drivers will be forced to use hards in Q1, mediums in Q2 and softs in Q3. The idea is to reduce the amount of total tyre sets used in the weekend.

they should ramp up this concept by forcing drivers that went to Q3 in the previous race to use just hard tires, the ones that went to Q2 to use mediums and only the last drivers able to use softs

Improving the idea. Before all this, a Q0 with no tyres Flinstones-like hard tyres.

Next qualifying: without a car. You exit the pits, run a lap to warm up, then run a lap as fast as you can. Ofcourse you can try to do a next lap if you think you can improve.
Fastest 15 go to Q2 and so on.
107% rule applies.
On Sunday you get your car back.

The ciclo-cross race there with them going up Eau-Rogue was quite something.

so when the teams fire up their wind tunnel there must be a FIA official there to clock the time of use?

Surely James Key is on borrowed time at Mclaren if they don't make a significant leap in Baku.

His absence from the car launch was pretty ominous.

Walkinshaw was a winner

Michael, Gascoyne, Kolles and Key have a reputation for not winning much if at all

Having seen all those videos of the way all those rich young Saudi's and UAE's drive, it doesn't sound surprising.
