The Spanish GP should be held at Motorland Aragon or yes, not held at all and Portugal hosts the Iberian race.

I'm quite sure that Barcelona keeps the event mainly because of blackmail, the oldest practice in motorsports

Marca reports that both Wittich and Freitas have been given their papers.

Freitas has confirmed he's out on a podcast. WEC is his project and F1 was not in his plans. He sort of said that it was a poisoned present.

Liberty unhappy at Mo for telling them what time of day it is.

Sulayem is doing a pretty good job at pissing off the Liberty douches, too bad he's also a big douche

I'm kinda growing to like this Ben Sulayem dude. He's got more balls than Toad during his whole tenure.

What a clownshow

This is nothing more than politics to try to get the price down so it can be sold to the Saudi's.

Can't wait for half of the races in the Middle East soon.

The Americans won't be happy with that.

I don't like either of them and the last thing I tune into this sport for is a soap opera between the governing body and the promoters

This is basically like If Max and Bernie were fighting back in the 2000s instead of being united against the teams machinations

Doesn't bode well :whistling:

As we were discussing before, the sport is only a financial collapse away from potentially losing up to half the grid. A $20bn evaluation is a really dangerous thing to do.

and if that happens the teams are like "Why did you let them value F1 so high?" "Why didn't you let in more teams when they wanted to join?" "Why are you letting this happen?" towards the FIA.

you are being gentle with half the grid. What could possibly happen is only Ferrari and Red Bull stay left as the others shut their doors (unless they are used as money laundering for organized crime)

Mo punctures another Liberty narrative. Andretti are the only team that wants in.

I'm so conflicted. I think sulayem is an idiot (see how he behaved at the price giving ceremony), but in a way, I kinda like what he's been saying these last few days. Fuck the teams and F1 for not letting other teams join. Entry fee should be low, the more teams the better. If they suck, they won't score points and don't get money and be out of business in a few years.

I can see the teams agreeing not to give an entry to Andretti and MBS simply goes with "too bad, it has already been granted. Deal with it" and then is the FISA/FOCA war all over again

is a clash of stubborness

And when they are allowed to enter, every team will crawl over the others to be the first to congratulate and welcome them.

Alfa Romeo ditches Orlen for a crypto casino scam and Orlen moves to AlphaTauri. Maybe we'll see a red and blue AT?

That colour combo could go quite well.
