Mick Schumacher showing some effort before leaving

and a small call for tragedy incoming with those slow drivers

Will this be the GP weekend with the least amount of posts?

My hope for the race: leclerc gets in front of Perez. Verstappen who is leading needs to slow down to hold up leclerc so Perez can try and overtake him. Sainz and the Mercedes get involved too. There is a multicar crash, and someone unlikely like Vettel or Alonso gets a podium

Perez has a great start and takes the lead, but Verstappen refuses to concede the position. The top 10 all crash out except Sebastian Vettel who goes on to win the grand prix in glorious fashion, but midway through next season Aston Martin are found to have breached the cost cap (after trying to claim that paying salaries in crypto doesn't count against the cap), and the victory is very belatedly given to Mick Schumacher, in what turns out to be his final ever f1 race, getting his one and only grand prix victory

Verstappen will keep the lead, and might hand Perez the win in a way that everybody sees what happened.
Unless Perez spoils his chance by not having enough pace to be in that position, which is also very likely.

Why would Max give Perez the lead? Perez only needs to finish ahead of Leclerc. If Leclerc was 3rd and Perez 2nd then perhaps, but I can't see max throwing away a win for a meaningless 2nd in the championship for his teammate.

luck for Perez is that Ferrari will do everything in their reach to keep Leclerc behind him (and Mercedes)

Because they had talks after the Brazil GP and Horner told Max "you two shut up and we will make an official statement to the press, but Max you better be sure to help Sergio and you allow him the win at the slightest opportunity!"

Or something like that, I dunno.

In what world can Lewis cut the corner without getting as much as a warning

Hamilton was going, what, 50mph? And still managed to get a decent amount of air. I don't know why we still have sausage kerbs anywhere on any race track

Sainz is cleared of running him off the track, so surely that's a slam dunk for Hamilton illegal overtake

Same world as the last few years. Sir #blessed can’t do nothing wrong and never gets properly punished

Hamilton probably reconsidering his plan to stick around a few more years.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

If Mercedes can build him a proper car next year I can see him stick around.
At the same time I wouldn’t be absolutely shocked if he suddenly retires within the next few weeks.

Mercedes can build the best car on the grid, it won't help much when his team-mate has him in his pocket. I don't think he wants to spend 3-4 years as the number 2 driver.
