The only interesting thing about this race was the mariachi take on the F1 song...

They should do that more. But then again what country has a distinctive music that would fit without making it a meme.

Lewis dammit, losing by 12 or by 14 seconds won´t be that much of a difference, will it?

Assuming the vsc delta is properly checked it simply means that max is better at staying within the delta than Lewis :whistling:

Unusual for Lewis to screw up the delta so much, usually what he does is accelerate ahead to gain time then virtually stops at the end of the segment to bring the delta back down in the hop of catching it right and it going green at the right time and gaining time on the delta because once it goes green the segment they are in is not checked.

Guess Lewis just cocked up the timing this time.

5 of the top 6 was exactly the same as last year, except for P4.

If Ferrari and Mercedes keep this up Mercedes will steal p2

Ferrari fucked up 3-4 races but the car is no where near on race pace.
And this RedBull in the hands of Max is one the most dominant cars ever.
We used to laugh how Ferrari is bad this And that, they actually need to make everything perfect, always under pressure,And then hope RedBull completely fucks up, to do something. They were so much faster through all Season in races

Which is a bad plan if they want more wind tunnel time

Lets see if they suspicious back off the pace in the last 2 races, like Ferrari seem to be. :whistling:

*conspiracies everywhere* :p

Anyway, a BAD race, 1/10 at best

hell yeah it was quite a snoozer once we saw Red Bull getting their act together on tire management while Mercedes went too optimistic on their strategy

First point for Bottas since Canada. The season started so well, and then nothing worked anymore

Just a bad track, most years pretty dull. The modern day Hungaroring. Only interesting race here was the one with Vettel cursing at Charlie whiting. The rest are usually 1 stop parades. They need to alter the track lay-out imo. Get rid of 1 fidly stadium section at least, 2 on such a short track is too much.

Tilke destroyed this track worse than Hockenheim. All fiddly short radius 90 degree corners with no flow and no payback.

Bring back the old layout.

This consistency is why Max is untouchable. Also shows near perfect tyre preservation skill.

Yes, amazing consistency. But he absolutely should not have been able to have that consistency as it shows ZERO tyre degradation approaching almost 50 laps. But he still has to be able to produce that consistency.

so 1. he was faster on mediums than on softs and 2. he lost virtually no time overtaking lapped cars.

question: how much time did he really gain on Hamilton during the VSC? Was Hamilton correct, or just crying again?
