Pfft I have an official Formula 1 branded Tinfoil hat (TM) thank you, with the Official FIA tin foil sponsor emblazened on top as well as Mcafree anti-virus tools :whistling:

Do you receive F1TV on it for free?

Speaking of Alonso, photo finish with Vettel today :8:

I would love to know how F1TV handled the race but a lot of the confusion came from Sky completely disregarding the full points that the broadcast were showing all the time. The world feed broadcasters have to be more aware of what's going on.

F1tv were talking they needed to get to lap 27 for 50% points, and leclerc and Perez to crash and fall down the order for Verstappen to be champion. So even the official f1 tv channel was 100% sure they were not getting full points.

Makes sense, because no one would be stupid enough to allow situation, where you can wait 2 hours and 59 minutes, do a SC finish and give full points just because race didn't end in a red flag situation. Except FIA.

It's just pure luck no one binned it 20 minutes to go and end the race there, in which case it would have been 6–4–3–2–1 points.

Yeah well, everybody had 2 hours to clarify everything up but failed to do so. A bit embarrassing that FOM journalists (+ Sky and other broadcasters) seemed to know less than the graphics team.

This was great. I have no idea how Alonso made that stick from so far back.

another thing that I noticed in the race is that they did something different froim the other time constraint races from this year, Verstappen crossed the line with 4 seconds to go and they simply said it is the final lap, let's wrap up this shit

at Monaco and Singapore they had to take one more lap once the clock had zeroed out like they do in touring car races and feeder formulae

Other than the awarded points fiasco, what the fuck was that Champion's Room with the Christmas themed throne? It looked like something a Santa Claus would sit on at your local shopping mall for a photo op.
