That was quite a dangerous moment by Sainz right there

What on earth takes race control so long in these situations? Bottas was already walking down the pit lane when they brought the SC out

Verstappen behind both Mercedes, with fresh tyres. This is basically how it should have played out anyway

There's no way to police it.....

The driver has the final say, the team cannot force someone to come into the pits, if the driver overrules them, how can the FIA know they genuinely intended to pit but the driver stayed out?

Of course, the teams then take advantage of this rule but it's another one of those unenforceable ones...

I'm sure Hamilton will be delighted with the 3rd place he's going to get.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Mercedes chose not to pit when it came out, Russell made the call himself the second time round

At this rate Sainz should be black-flagged by consistently sucking throughout the whole race

All the field came through the pits so I have no idea now who actually pitted and who didn't

It's stupid of Mercedes to remove the rear gunner from Lewis if they had any design on winning this race, but I guess they're not the team order team they think they are

Lewis is gonna be 3rd now too

Yeah good decision then since cars had to go thought pitlane the next lap. So he had a free pitstop :p

Lewis better not jump the restart so Russell can get in front of Max

Actually, make that 4th as Leclerc also pitted for softs.

Mercedes should have overridden Russell in this case, makes no sense for him to be on softs behind Verstappen

Lewis should learn from George. George made the call to switch
