Bottas pits on lap 7. Probably wants to avoid getting stuck in traffic.

Could be a good strategy. What if he jumps whole Russell train? 8) Nah.

Alonso passed him for 10th on the last lap. That strategy didn't work at all

MSC driver of the race IMO. Many others were really good today, but he is the more impressive improvement compared to his usual level

That stop for leclerc under vsc saved them. Max would have caught him otherwise

Charles is two engine failures and two strategy blunders away from leading the championship. Good job Ferrari.

Enjoying the Leclerc/Verstappen battle. It's much healthier than the Ham/Ver battle last year. For now at least...

The whole interaction between them is also worlds apart. Seems like a generational gap tbh.
There is a video where max, Charles, Sainz and Perez are watching a video of this guy imitating them all and laughing their balls off. Somehow I can’t see Lewis standing with them doing the same.

Lewis lives a different life. He has other social circles and things happening, unlike the others whose lives have pretty much been made together for years.

Crap, it's Paul Ricard next. :yuk: Hopefully they have to cancel it because the asphalt starts to melt due to record-breaking heatwave or something.

only the recreation of Spa last year could save this race. But again it never rained at Paul Ricard in F1

great race though, Sainz escaped from a near explosion as the fire could reach the battery

Something definitely did explode under the engine cover - it blew the back of the sidepods open.

Prepare to wear out your F5 key. Top 3 has been summoned for parc ferme breaches. Apparently interaction with their physio before being weighted.

First win for Russell coming?

Edit: old news. All 3 have been handed suspended fine of $10.000

Is this why they were so strict on track limits?

"We're being hard on you now because next week there's just white lines and no real track, so we don't want you wander off on your own and getting an advantage so we're teaching you good form now"

That he had left the pits with a loose wheel during the VSC. He pitted twice in 2 laps.
