I'd rather believe it would be a maiden victory for Russell. |

The past is the past, let´s not start the discussion again about who was most to blame last year. |

Yeah, it's obviously Helio who won that race. Oh wait! |

good, no rain mean less chance of a weather delay because of puddles in the runoffs |

I like a wet qualifying/dry race combo. Jumbled grids (though I know aren’t a guarantee in a wet qualy) are fun. |

I hate how I never seem to get used to the "new" track layout, even though it's over a decade old now. It doesn't help I keep watching these kind of old videos on YouTube. |

I miss Bridge and I really hate The Loop. |

First corner is Copse, I choose to ignore reality. |

The changes for 2010 turned silverstone from a Hungary level bore (in the dry) to one of the best tracks on the calender for overtaking, the new wellington straight especially, but I love the flat out blast of Abbey to the tight section of the loop where it's possible to pass on the inside or even the outside Bridge was a flat out kink pretending to be a challenge to the modern F1 cars, there were literally only 2 things that happened there, Schumacher and Hill in 95 and Trulli flips in 2004 We lost nothing when they moved it tbh, and I think it's still there and can be used for other formulae, should they so choose, so it's hardly a hockenheim situation Nostaliga is great until you remember things used to suck in the past too....we can find the threads to prove it. Even 2004 was a nothing race until Trulli flipped and after the SC a potentially faster Kimi could not get by Schuey at all due to the track layout Even if you don't like the changes, you have to admit that the extra straight they added meant the teams are now forced to run a lower downforce setup than they did in the past, meaning the part that you do still like is even more of a challenge now due to them having less grip, this is especially true of Maggots/Becketts |

The safety car just appeared for a few laps and then they carried on. I don't feel much nostalgia for the times when you either needed a portable radio or to hope you could hear the track commentary over the terrible PA system |

The changes to the track have improved racing, I can agree on that, but it just makes the track seem so bland and generic. In my opinion the track was its best (1991-94) pre Abbey chicane, but with the improved Priory complex that came later. |

I noticed some time ago that the track has used 8 different lay-outs since 1950. That has to be a record |

A lot of people still say the 1949-1990 layout (including the various Woodcotes) was the best one, even though it was a little bit basic. I think it would be amazing for racing with modern cars, but at the same time the Maggots-Becketts-Chapel complex is probably one of the best in the world to watch F1 cars laugh at physics. |
