Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

That is a big piece! No wonder it slowed him down.

I am struggling to understand where that piece was lodged? If it was around the suspension area I would have assumed they would have yanked or cut it out at the pit stop. If it was under the car did it slice through the floor and get stuck?

In the post-race interview he said that he saw the piece, and aimed to hit it with the middle rather than tyres. But it got lodged under the car, destroying part of the left hand side floor.

Nah. I think that’s a side of him most people don’t know. In the car hyper competitive but once he is out of the car he can put it aside and laugh about it

some interesting statistics after this race

Hamilton now have 16 consecutive seasons with at least a lap leaded, passing Michael Schumacher in another record

Fernando Alonso now holds the biggest distance covered in F1 races, passing Kimi Raikkonen

Carlos Sainz is the first son of a rally world champion to claim a F1 victory, also the first time a son of a Dakar Rally winner wins at F1

also the first win for a spaniard after 9 years

another extra fact: First time in nearly 10 years that a driver bearing the Schumacher name finishes on points, also the third driver from the clan to do so

Are there any videos about the extraction of Zhou. I want to know how they got him out between that gap.

YouTube search is absolutely useless as it returns just thousands clickbaits with music playing on top of photos and tiktok videos.
Like, what the heck is this :slaphead: :

The briefly showed a crane pulling the wreckage in the official Formula1 channel video (ZHOU OKAY AFTER CRASH).

Driver extrication would be very interesting to watch, and a good learn for marshalls around the world. I just wonder what the amateur photographers did during this time, probably more people pulled their phones than during the start itself. Let's give it some time
