what an instant classic, great racing from flag to flag

Ferrari tried to throw away all their chances to win, but I can say that the Mexican Minister of Defense guaranteed that one for Sainz, epic driving from Perez

The Tom Cruise lookalike doesn't even look that much like Tom Cruise these days....

Btw, when was the last time an F1 car jumped the barrier (not counting Grosjean who went through it)? Struggling to think of one

wasn't that test by Pedro Lamy in 1994?

I hate this type of racing, I prefer drivers to give each other space in whatever scenario. However Max is just exploiting the rules, as the stewarding on these things still is so inconsistent. If you get away with it 95% of the time it’s worth it for these drivers. Yes, I hate it, but there’s no way you can blame one driver for it. Personally I’d love to see consistent and harsher penalties for stuff like this. You’ll see Max won’t pull this shit anymore as it won’t be worth it anymore

Yep that's probably it, with Lamy before that. All at Silverstone :o

I think we can consider McNish as a "go through", so it yas to be Zonta's testing accident in 2000... at Silverstone.

Happens more in other series

There's an easy way to get him to stop: keep your nose on the track and harpoon the fuck out of his rear axle.
Next time he's next to you in particular, he knows you won't back off and he leave space for the sake of his race.

But it takes a richer guy to do this, someone willing to sacrify result and pay for damage, in exchange for on-track "cred" and reputation.

Sky DE showed the onboard of Mick in the last few corners - Max literally swerved towards him while under braking, when Mick was alongside.

There's strong defending and there's whatever the hell that was. I hope Haas protest tbh.

Max defening against Mick was disgusting, he knows that it's Mick, a pretty much nice guy, without points yet, and won't risk it. If it was Latifi or someone not so aware and talented, both would be out. But Max has overdone it, and did it a little bit too much times

The relief on Carlos' face during the anthem was evident. I think he can do a lot better now that he doesn't have such self-imposed pressure.

Did those idiots step on the track after they saw the red was out, or was that just pure luck?
