I just wonder if this radio nonsense is a sign of the times, or all drivers have been bitches since the start of time and we just didn't had access to it.

I'm fed up by it, just stop with the radio bullshit, they should just stop broadcasting it.

not just broadcasting, but stop radio communication altogether. Let them race and listen to radio only from race direction

Ah, always with the "heat of the moment" excuse. That's been used in his defense countless times.

You realise Lewis is so rich he doesn't need to live in your head rent free?

Critiquing his disingenuousness doesn't quite equate to "living in my head rent free". Not my fault he constantly spouts conflicting statements.

Umm yeah it does.

It's a 5 bedroom loft he's living in right now, you have to jump on everything he says and critique it.

Not only that, he showed a fuckload of inspiration and came from the back and finished 5th without a safety car, so well done on pointing out how amazing he is

Imagine what we had to do without Scotty telling us what we are thinking and what we should be thinking

The radio messages aren't the problem, it's the movie scenarios that people paint with the interpretations they make from them.

I think Mansell/Senna/Prost would have been just as bad.

at least back in those days live radio did had to share with onboard cameras so you could barely understand, expect this one from Senna where he was swearing in portuguese, quite a mix from physical pain and euphoria (from 1:30 onwards)

Well if some people here had brains I wouldn't have to think for them.

I read somewhere (unfortunately can't remember where) that Mansell was absolutely as bad, constantly complaining about the car or other drivers. He did also occasionally sing, which is possibly worse if you've ever heard him speak

I can understand singing to yourself while concentrating on driving. But pressing the radio button while doing so is just being cruel to your race engineer

I said I don't know if I can win the race, but I'll give it everything. So hopefully for me, that was a bit like a win, and I dedicate it to her."

Also Hamilton after lap 1:
"Guys maybe we should save the engine and park it."
