I hope today is a total washout, so it will cause total chaos and calamity for the organising of the sprint race, to hopefully kill the idea of them completely.

What are the protocols for a complete washout on Friday? No practice, no sprint qualy? They would either have to line the grid up based on championship positions, or run FP1 early in the morning, Sprint Qualy, then FP2 and then Sprint Race, or junk FP2 altogether, or have FP2 on Sunday morning which would be completely useless anyway.

All while trying to shuffle all the other feeder series round. Either way, if it was a wash out it would be a failure of F1's own making........again.

hey, let's do a standing start with no practice on a narrow track that curves into the first corner (it caused the Russell crash last year) :excited: :excited:

when you think Abu Dhabi lap 55 couldn't get any more gimmicky

I used to read that ground effect cars could create a standing mist, but they're just doing the regular spray

Latifi being Latifi. No wonder we see red flags so easily nowadays. They don't know how to drive in wet.

This page is a train wreck.

Blame the weather, the week-end organization, the track layout, sprint races, for professional drivers' past mistakes or potential future mistakes.

They're not sheltered babies FFS (although most of them act like ones). They walk the track, agree to race on the track, get equal running time, run the same sessions, in equal weather conditions at any given time. Let them deal with it like fucking adults.

Don't think Williams likes the wet with Albon having a similar braking issue.

Williams scraped off a bunch of paint to safe weight. Looks weird to see this bare carbon fiber during the actual season
