Same here. I'm not a fan of him either. But I respect the hell out of him. He's going to end his time in the sport as the greatest of all time.

But his haters are a different kind of stupid, who seem to hate him for the dumbest things, even trying to knock him down when he's using his influence for good.

The problem for me is not the shorts........rather its those BOOTS with those shorts. I mean come on Lewis. You are just trolling at this point lol. (spoken by the man who has pretty much had the same style for the last 20 years, blue denim jeans, hoodie and work boots)

Lewis should use his influence to make the use of shorts acceptable in workplace

Breaking the fun chain here, but remember that race at Magny-Cours where Schumacher won by stopping one more time than initially planned (4 stops total)? It was so preposterous that I about gave up on Formula 1 that day.

I remember that one, it was pretty hilarious both as a tactical masterpiece and a demonstration of how probably no other driver could have done it.

Also both of those races held up as tactical masterstrokes by Schumi and Brawn, Hungary 98 and Magny Cours 04 IIRC (which tbf they were, though Hungary was probably more impressive as he wasn't in a car that could piss the field like 04) were dull as hell for the spectators
And because the TV coverage at the time was tuned into refueling strategy as the main form as entertainment, the director pretty much just watched Schuey lapping on his own and showed nothing else, making them one of the races that season I thought was boring as hell, yet was continually told how brilliant they were by the TV coverage, ferrari fans and those type of James Allen types who think Refueling was everything Formula 1 supposed to be
