who would had known that a driver that debuted in 2001 can still set fire on the grid like he just had won the championship?

Rumor on Twitter is that the Williams staff has to be present too for the announcement. If true not your regular driver announcement

So they sold the team to Audi, or Michael Andretti, or Dmitry Mazepin

Nah, it’s the unannounced 3rd manufacturer Stefano talked about. Welcome to F1 Lada :whistling:

that remembered me when a football team in crisis start giving no interviews and then calls a press conference. Then one of the players go there and don't answer a single question, just gives an annoucement "we're keeping the silence"

Meh news in regards of excitement but I think a good signing overall. Seems to work very well together so good to see him on the grid for the next few years

These memes are great.

I'm getting messages from kids in the family who barely care about F1 usually, they're all crazy about the Piastri drama

Vettel must've known about this a week ago though, his retirement announcement that started all this off cannot be put down to coincidence, surely?

By the way: Are we sure Lando will drive a McLaren next year?
When McLaren got the Mercedes engines it was announced that Mercedes is in return managing Norrises career from then on.
https://www.carscoops.com/2019/10/mclar ... -mercedes/
If Hamilton retires and Norris moves to Mercedes and if McLaren can get rid of Ricciardo, they would have two seats to fill, rather then just the one that is being discussed right now.

I wonder if Vandoorne becoming World Champion in Formula E for Mercedes might change anything.

(I know it won´t but one can dream)

Vandoorne on Mercedes against Verstappen on Red Bull is a Benelux wet dream
