Haas pulled Steiner out of a planned press moment.

Either Steiner is gone or they're dodging all questions related to the tyrant like Trump dodged the draft.

and Vettel said this:

Quote:
13:25 The lunchtime press conferences are underway. Sebastian Vettel was asked about the Russian GP: "Obviously if you look at the calendar, we have a race scheduled in Russia. For myself, my own opinion is I should not go, I will not go. I think it’s wrong to race in that country."

and of course, race will only be cancelled if the promoters call it quit or if the track gets bombed

No dictator should receive pride and glory from any sporting events. Only when Putin is gone, then F1 can return to Russia. Same goes for China, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain. It'd disgraceful not to condemn their dictorships, and even worse to reward them with spectacle like F1.

Kymi Ring and Anderstorp should replace those GPs, as Finland and Sweden are the top countries in all indices involving freedom, democracy and anticorruption.

Jeez man, I really admire Seb for his proactive leadership on human rights issues. But I worry for his general safety after what happened to Artemi Panarin last year when he publicly spoke out against Putin.

I read that Ferrari said that other teams underestimate the benefits of that behavior but looking at the video I cant see that being fun during an entire race.

In other new, rumor in the press room today was that Haas would drop UralKali but the team denies this. But where there is smoke.....

Is Lando being typically honest, or bluffing? At least one trackside observer has said the McLaren looks good straight out of the box.

Have any of the drivers spoken about how the car handles in dirty air? Significantly easier to follow? That would be great, although DRS could make passing way too easy.

I think Sainz said it was better than before.

Wow, I'm wondering how the team would even be able to operate without UralKali funding onboard. Unless they have some backup plan for someone to bail them out, I feel like that would be a very tough divorce for Haas to survive...
